WHY BECOME A FINANCIAL PARTNER?

WHY BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER?

We know our success rests on our ability to reach unbanked Angelinos through the networks they trust, like employers, places of worship, community agencies, and local colleges. Bank on Los Angeles can provide essential training, advice, and banking opportunities to your organization's clients. In turn, your organization can help connect us with unbanked Angelinos looking to take the first step on the road to financial security.

Sign up today and find out how you can:

• Invite a Bank on Los Angeles bank or credit union of your choice to partner with your organization.
• Create an action group to encourage members of your community to enroll in financial education, open checking accounts, or start savings plans.
• Include Bank on Los Angeles information in your mailings and newsletters.
• Display posters and other materials in public spaces.
• Place a link on your Web site to bankonla.org.

We want our newly banked Angelinos to have all of the tools they need to be successful, so we partnered with the East LA Community Corporation (links to www.elacc.org ), Community Financial Resource Center (www.cfrc.net), Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (www.pacela.org), Valley Economic Development Corporation (www.vedc.org)  to provide financial education classes to everyone who opens a Bank on Los Angeles account. Our Community Partners offer classes in English and Spanish every month, at locations throughout the city.
